I think that this is a great way to get the community involved. With being in SAVE, it has helped me be better at recycling items such as paper, plastic bottles and aluminum cans. I think that if we could get the whole community involved in it, then we could all make our world a bit greener. People have been pretty good with recycling lately, but if we got more people to recycle their empty water bottles and aluminum cans it would help a lot more.

I think that Global Citizenship is simply acting as a citizen and a resident of this world. Legally, people can be citizens, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they do their part as a citizen.

To be a true citizen is to actual care about the people to which you are a citizen, to keep up with issues that affect your world, the political leaders, the government, voting. All of these things and many more are elements of being an ideal citizen of the world.

Doing all of this is important because sitting idly by as the world turns around you does absolutely nothing. To be a citizen means to make your world an ideal place to live, and if one voice is strong enough, imagine what millions can do. When you have knowledge on a subject, only then will you know how to fix it.

To me a global citizen is someone who is aware of the whole world and not just the country that they are a citizen of. Things that people do in one country can have effects on countrys on the other side of the world. Recycling and using your cars less are two things that people can do to make the world a healthier place to live in.

To me i think that Global Citzenship is more of a life style, this may seem like a weird way for me to put it but let me explain. When we are young our parents teach us right from wrong. When parents have their childrent they should try and think about their childrens lives. If you want a world with great citizens we as individuals must raise great citizens.
Getting back to the point those who want a to leave in a "greener" world we must begin to do things such as recycling and trying not use things that harm our enviroment.

I think that a global citizen is someone who tries to help the community as much as possible to make our earth a better place to be. To be a global citizen I believe we should care more about recycling and global warming being more aware about our surroundings and endangered species. This is important because it helps us become a stronger nation and it will help give a better outlook to our children in the future to what we should be doing and maybe be giving them new ideas on what they can do to help become good citizens also.

To me being a global citizen is not only calling yourself a “person of the world,” but being active in the world you are in. I believe each person has a role, being a citizen of the world, and the first part of that role is being aware, aware of everything happening and going on around you, locally and globally. With this citizenship you are to respect and value the diversity of the different cultures around you, and try to disband any forms of prejudice and social injustice. Not only should a citizen of the world look for and try to aid in bettering the world, but should act more locally within each of their communities and participate when needed or called upon. Above all each citizen should just work towards bettering the world wherever needed and work towards complete equality
